Christian Rub (April 13, 1886 – April 14, 1956) was known as a character actor from the late 1910s to the early 1950s, was featured in more than 100 movies, often uncredited. He was born in Passau, Bavaria, Germany. His first appearance was in the movie The Belle of New York. Then, he made one of the biggest appearances in his acting career (uncredited), the voice of Gepetto in the movie Pinocchio, which was not surprising considering his friendship with Walt Disney. Christian Rub appeared in his last movie Something for the Birds, as Leo. He died in Santa Barbara, California, aged 70.
