Christian Estrosi (born July 1, 1955 in Nice) is a French politician, member of the French Parliament (National Assembly of France), mayor of Nice since 2008. He is a supporter of Nicolas Sarkozy.

From 2007 to 2008, he was Secretary of State in charge of the French Overseas, under Minister of the Interior. He was also President of the general council for the Alpes-Maritimes département until December 2008.

Prior to his career in politics, Estrosi competed in Grand Prix motorcycle road racing. His best result was a fourth place finish in the 1978 500cc French Grand Prix.^[1]
