[edit] Youth and College

Riley attended Union-Endicott High School, graduating in 2001 in the same class as Baltimore Orioles pitcher Jim Johnson. He played college soccer at Herkimer County Community College in 2001 and 2002, taking the team to the national junior college championships both those seasons, losing in the finals each time. he then transferred to Wright State University for the 2003 and 2004 seasons.

During his college years Riley also played with the Albany Blackwatch Highlanders in the USL Premier Development League.

[edit] Professional

Riley signed with the Charleston Battery of the USL First Division on March 11, 2005, but never broke into the first team.[1] In 2006, he signed with the Wilmington Hammerheads of the USL Second Division, and later moved to the Western Mass Pioneers. On April 17, 2008, he signed with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.[2]

[edit] Coaching
