Coordinates: 36°09′54″N 001°19′41″E / 36.165°N 1.32806°E / 36.165; 1.32806 Chlef (Arabic: ولاية الشلف) is a province (wilaya) in Algeria, and has about 1 million inhabitants. Its capital is Chlef.
