Chibuzor Okonkwo (born December 16, 1988) is a Nigerian Defender who plays for Bayelsa United. He is a right-footed full-back who can play on either side of the pitch. He came in January 2007 from Gabros International to Bayelsa United F.C., where he won the 2008-09 League MVP award after leading helping Bayelsa win their first ever league title. In April, 2009 he was added to the Super Eagles' list for the upcoming friendlies and World Cup Qualifers, the first Nigeria-based player to earn a callup since Shaibu Amodu became coach[2], but was unable to travel due to visa problems.
