Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam (English: A rainy season in Chennai) is a forthcoming Tamil film written and directed by Gautham Menon. It stars Trisha Krishnan and four male debutants in the lead roles, whilst Nethra of Thoovanam fame and Nikita Thukral of Saroja fame play supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack will be composed by the acclaimed composer A. R. Rahman with lyrics by Thamarai, whilst editing is being handled by Anthony and camera by debutant Manoj Paramahamsa. The film is said to deal with life in the underworld. Shooting for the film began on the 24th of July, 2007 at Tidel Park in Chennai, India,^[1] which is expected to release in 2010, after the release of Gautham Menon's current project Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.
