Urdhva Dhanurasana, also known as Chakrasana, Upward Bow, or Wheel, is a yoga pose (asana). [edit] Position
In this asana, the practitioner lies on his or her back and pushes up, balancing just on the hands and feet. Practicioners believe that this pose improves the elasticity of the spine and hip joints, slims the waist, and increases the capacity of the lungs. The pose is generally not recommended for beginners as it requires strength and flexibility. Dhanurasana is the counter-pose for Chakrasana (Urdhva Dhanurasana) [edit] See also[edit] References
