Chad Jones is an Australian rules football player, who plays for the Claremont. He is the brother of West Coast Eagle Brett Jones. Chad used to play for the North Melbourne Kangaroos and West Coast Eagles.

[edit] North Melbourne Kangaroos

Chad was drafted by the Kangaroos in the 2nd round (24th overall). He had a three year stint at the club, however only managed 6 games in that time. In his second season did not play a game. Chad was dropped at the end of the 2006 season.

[edit] West Coast Eagles

The West Coast Eagles picked up Chad Jones with their 3rd round pick in the 2006 AFL Rookie Draft. He played 7 games for the club over two years, however was dropped after West Coast's poor season, as one of three delistings.^[1]

When Chad was brought into West Coast he was assigned to the club that he started at before moving to Melbourne to play with the Kangaroos. At the end of the 2008 season he has played 37 games for the club, playing in the forward line.
