Center is an unincorporated community in northern Metcalfe County in the south central region of the U.S. state of Kentucky. It is home to North Metcalfe Elementary which is part of the Metcalfe County School District. It was here that the first Butler Funeral Home was established in the early 1900s. Later Butler's moved to the county seat of Metcalfe County, Edmonton.

The community is part of the Glasgow Micropolitan Statistical Area.
