A student society or student organization is an organization, usually operated by students at a university, whose active membership normally consists only of students. Student societies often aim to facilitate a particular activity or promote a belief system, and may be affiliated with the university's students' union.

Individual student societies or umbrella organisations of student societies should be categorised in the appropriate category, either by country of origin, or by activity, and NOT in this directory.
