Carlos Alberto Batres González (born April 2, 1968 in Guatemala City) is a Guatemalan football referee.^[1] He has refereed FIFA World Cup qualification and final tournament matches, and at Olympic tournaments.

Having refereed in FIFA since January 1, 1996, Batres conducted his first international match on October 27, 1996, a 1998 World Cup qualifier between Panama and Canada.

He was preselected as a referee for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.^[2]
