The Capital Area Soccer League (CASL) is a soccer league located in North Carolina's capital, Raleigh. The league is home to over 800 men's, women's, and youth clubs from the Triangle area. There are several CASL teams that among the top-tier teams in the nation, including the 91 Elite team mentioned below, and United States soccer rankings can be found at http://soccerincollege.com/rank.aspx.

The league was founded in 1974 as a not-for-profit organization and has grown in size ever since.

The league uses several top class venues throughout the area including WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, and the WRAL Soccer Center in Raleigh.

CASL used to run a USL Premier Development League team, the Raleigh CASL Elite.

On 2007-12-30, the CASL 91 Elite team won the Disney Soccer Showcase at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The team upset the world-renowned Chelsea F.C. U-16 team. Goals were scored by Magnus Sorensen and Glenn Scott. ^[1]
