Candice Dupree (born August 16, 1984 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is an American basketball player for the Chicago Sky.

Dupree graduated from Temple University in 2006.

• Member of the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team in 2003 and second team in 2004.
• Named Atlantic 10 and Philadelphia Big Five Player of the Year in 2005.
• Named the 2005 Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year.
• Named 2005 Associated Press All-American Honorable Mention.
• Member of the 2005 Atlantic 10 first team and two-time Big Five first seam selection in 2004 and 2005.
• Named Atlantic 10 and Philadelphia Big Five Player of the Year in 2006.
• Named the 2006 Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year.

Dupree was selected 6th overall in the 2006 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky. As a rookie, she was named to the eastern conference WNBA all star team. In her first all star game, she competed against her former college coach Dawn Staley. Dupree was also named to the eastern conference WNBA All Star Team in her second season in the WNBA.

Dupree, along with Ex Bulls guard Ben Gordon and ex-Bulls star Scottie Pippen, participated in the Shooting Stars competition at the 2007 All-Star Game Weekend in Las Vegas. The competition has teams from select cities to compete with one current NBA player, a former NBA player, and an WNBA player. This is the first year for "Team Chicago" because the WNBA representative, the Chicago Sky will be in its second season.

Team Chicago (48.8) and Team Detroit (1:06) advanced to final round. Due to Ben Gordon shooting out of order before Candice Dupree, Detroit won by default. In the 2008 Shooting Stars Competition Team Chicago had the fastest time in round 1 and faced Team San Antonio in the finals. Team San Antonio won.

• Candice also played in a professional league in Poland, in TS Wisła Can-Pack Kraków. She played for them during the 2008-09 WNBA off-season.^[1] During the 2009-2010 WNBA off-season she is playing for slovak national champion Good Angels Košice.^[2][3]

• 2007-2008: The Polish TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow team won the Women's PLKK Championship Series.

Dupree was invited to the USA Basketball Women's National Team training camp in the fall of 2009.^[4] The team selected to play for the 2010 FIBA World Championship and the 2012 Olympics is usually chosen from these participants. At the conclusion of the training camp, the team will travel to Ekaterinburg, Russia, where they compete in the 2009 UMMC Ekaterinburg International Invitational.^[4]

Dupree grew up in Tampa Bay, Florida. Dupree has 2 sisters; one is her twin, while the other is in high school. She played high school basketball at Paul R. Wharton High School. She describes her mother as her biggest inspiration and fan. She wears a sleeve on her left arm to conceal the scar of a removed tumor. Her favorite dish is steak & potatoes. Dupree says if she were not playing basketball she'd own her own business. one of her bestfriends or people she tend to hang with is Cheryl Ford.
