Campbell Brown (born 28 August 1983) is an Australian rules footballer currently plays for Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League.

Brown wears the No. 30 guernsey and is noted for his overall aggression and toughness.[1]. He debuted for the Hawks in 2002, and received a nomination for the Rising Star award.[2]

In 2007, Brown was fined $15,000, with half of the amount suspended, for giving misleading information to the AFL Tribunal about a misconduct charge of then West Coast (now Carlton) star Chris Judd. [3]Vision appeared to show Judd's hand on Brown's face with fingers around Brown's eyes. Brown's evidence at the Tribunal led to the charge against Judd being dropped.

Brown was in the squad for the Australian international rules football team which competed in the International Rules Series in 2006.

He is the son of the WAFL hall of famer Australian rules football player Malcolm 'Mal' Brown[4], and attended Scotch College, Melbourne and Deakin University where he studied Sports Management[5]

During trade week 2009, Brown was controversially put up for trade by Hawthorn for Power star Shaun Burgoyne. Hawthorn fans erupted and Brown was shocked. Coming to terms with the prospect of being traded the Hawthorn President Jeff Kennett was moved to ring up a radio station to try and deny the actions of the Hawthorn football department.
