Although he has had a relationship with her for five years now, David is too afraid to commit to his girlfriend Sarah, who is pressuring him into proposing to her. While she goes away to New York for work for two months, David's friends persuade him to experience the wild dating scene one more time.

There, David meets a mysterious woman. The mystery women is the sister of a girl to whom David sent letters (girl was 11). David gets in trouble with the police. David finds out that the mystery girl is really the sister of the wife of his best friend. He finally gets together with the mystery woman. Mike is the comic humor of the film(mostly sexual). He jabbers on and on about being single for life. After a sexual encounter with a woman, he is awoken by her gay roommate. This shocks Mike thinking that he is gay. He plans to escape by using the only thing he is wearing, a blanket. Of course, he is naked now. When an old woman sees him in the nude, she sprays her hot shower to his penis, which hurts him. In the end, he hooks up with Amy.
