Jesse "Budge" Edward Patty (born February 11, 1924) was an American male tennis player. He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, United States.

1950 Wimbledon Championships – Men's Singles

In 1950, he won the men's singles championship at both Wimbledon and the French Open.[1] Only two other American men have achieved this double victory: Don Budge in 1938 and Tony Trabert in 1955.

He was inducted in the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1977.

Patty attended Los Angeles High School. He now lives in Lausanne, Switzerland, with his wife, Marcina.
