[edit] Private Life

She is the daughter of Donna Summer and Bruce Sudano, she has a sister, Amanda Sudano, and a half-sister, Mimi Sommer. Mimi is the daughter of Donna Summer and her first husband, Helmut Sommer. As a youngster Brooklyn was raised near Thousands Oaks, California, and in the early 1990's her family relocated to Nashville. Just as her older sister Mimi was featured in a song her Mom wrote about her (Mimi's Song), Brooklyn is featured in the song, Brooklyn, on her Mom's album, I'm A Rainbow.

Brooklyn married her long time boyfriend, Mike McGlaflin, on October 8, 2006.

In her spare time, Brooklyn paints and draws and loves dancing. She currently resides in Los Angeles.

[edit] Carrer

Brooklyn replaced Meagan Good as Vanessa Scott on My Wife and Kids. She is Junior's girlfriend and later wife, who first appears in the season finale of season 3 (played by Meagan Good.) She continues as a regular cast member throughout the rest of the series five year run.

She also starred in the film adaptation of V. C. Andrews' novel Rain.

Sudano has always had a passion for the performing arts. From a very young age she performed in musicals and other theater productions. After deciding that Sudano wanted to pursue an acting career full time, she took a break from her studies at Vanderbilt University to attend the renowned Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City.

In addition to acting and some commercial modeling, Brooklyn has been fulfilling her other passion writing and performing her own music. She is currently working in the studio with Henry Hirsch (producer for Lenny Kravitz) in New York.
