Robert James Burke (January 23, 1907 - February 8, 1971) in Joliet, Illinois was a Pitcher for the Washington Senators (1927-35) and Philadelphia Phillies (1937). He helped the Senators win the 1933 American League Pennant. In 10 seasons he had a 38-46 Win-Loss record, 254 Games, 88 Games Started, 27 Complete Games, 4 Shutouts, 93 Games Finished, 5 Saves, 918 ⅔ Innings Pitched, 926 Hits Allowed, 506 Runs Allowed, 437 Earned Runs Allowed, 35 Home Runs Allowed, 360 Walks Allowed, 299 Strikeouts, 24 Hit Batsmen, 16 Wild Pitches, 3,985 Batters Faced, 3 Balks and a 4.28 ERA.
