Bobbi Broderick was a special guest star character on the FX Networks television show, Nip/Tuck. She was played by Jill Clayburgh. [edit] Character historyBobbi was first introduced into the show by having a consultation with Dr. Sean McNamara. She begins the consultation by aimlessly speaking about her life, rather than requesting surgery. She does eventually ask for liposuction. She claims that she needs to be thinner for a job interview. Sean is at first very hesitant about agreeing to the surgery, because she is already rather thin. He eventually does and gives her a waiver form to read over. She doesn't think twice and just signs the waiver without reading. After the surgery she is not happy with what she sees. She has bad bumps and bruises on her stomach, and blames it on the doctors. Later, Bobbi follows Sean to a restaurant where he is eating dinner with his wife Julia, and screams through the restaurant while lifting her shirt up, showing the bad aftereffect, that he was the one who performed her liposuction. Sean then tries to calm her down by telling her that the bumps and bruises are from a sudden weight gain, which is not to happen after the surgery. Bobbi then continues to slander the doctors by chasing patients away from their office by showing them what her stomach looks like from the surgery. She attempts to get her story on the local news station, but fails. She later realizes that she is not to blame when she tries to compare her story to one of the victims of The Carver, who the doctors operated on to fix damage from a brutal attack. She then makes peace with the doctors and agrees to leave them alone.
