A gaming official thought to be trying to get a share of Indian Casino profits is found dead and scalped Native American Indian style. Horatio received a distress call from Anna Sivarro (the same girl from episode 517, "A Grizzly Murder") at a hotel. Horatio finds her in a traumatized state but she does hint him to go inside a certain building. The dead man is Doug Lansing, the president of the media-monopolizing Holcrofs Communications. Alexx's accessment says that he was stabbed and then scalped. Horatio and Frank must somehow get Anna to talk and help them find the cold-blooded murderer. In the end, the team discover a complicated web of greed and lies...
