Bleecker Street Cinema (April 3, 1960 - August 30, 1990) was an American art house movie theater located at 144 Bleecker Street in New York City, New York. Created by Lionel Rogosin for the premiere of his Come Back, Africa, it became a landmark of Greenwich Village, and was well known for showing foreign, indie and other offbeat movies.

In fall 1974 Rogosin sold the theater to Sid Geffen who, with wife Jackie Raynal, also operated the Carnege Hill Cinema. The Bleecker Street closed in August 1990, due to sharp increases in rent.^[1]
