Bighorn is the name of a fictional character in the various Transformers universes.
[edit] Beast Wars Second
Bighorn charges in headlong; hates to show his back to the enemy. Because of this, there are times when he plays into the enemy's hands. He also happens to have a gentle, nature loving side; however, he particularly dislikes red flowers. Has a Buffalo Missile weapon with his tail as the trigger. He has his friends handle the trigger timing (by having them pull his tail) so he can concentrate on taking aim, thus raising his accuracy rating. He has a habit of stamping his feet. He transforms into a bison and many around him have a habit of calling him a bull to which he will instantly retort "I'm a buffalo!" [1] According to the show notes for Beast Wars Second he is 3.5 meters (11 feet 6 inches) tall and weighs 2.8 tons. [2] [edit] Animated seriesBighorn first appears in episodes #1 of Beast Wars Second, called "The Birth of a New Army." He is particularly featured in episode #3 "Bighorn's Fury." In their initial confrontation Powerhug fights Bighorn in hand-to-hand combat, but the two are evenly matched. Bighorn appears in episode #14, "The Combined Giant, Tripledacus." Upon arriving on Gaea the Jointrons briefly fight Bighorn, Diver, Tasmanian Kid, Starscream and BB. After chasing away the Predacons Tripledacus notices the remaining mechs are Maximals and becomes friends with them. Later, when Tripledacus confronts Megastorm, Starscream and BB the Maximals arrive to chase the Predacons away from their new ally. In episode #21, "The Tentacular Scuba" Bighorn develops a crush on the female Seacon Scylla, but she only has eyes for the Maximal Scuba. Bighorn appears in episode #22, "Megastorm's Reconing" where he fights the Seacon Coelagon. [edit] IDW PublishingBighorn had a biography printed in the Beast Wars Sourcebook by IDW Publishing.
