Bert Brooks (born March 20, 1920 in Fredericton, New Brunswick - September 2, 1968) was a racecar driver. He made two unsuccessful qualifying attempts in 1961 for USAC Championship Car races, including the 1961 Indianapolis 500. Both times he didn't qualify was because he was too slow. Brooks was a sprint car racer on the east coast of the US, frequently racing and capturing numerous wins in Pennsylvania and New York.[1] [edit] References
