Bernard Cunniffe is a former professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s and '40s who at representative level has played for Great Britain, England, and Yorkshire, and at club level for Castleford, playing at Wing, i.e. number 2 or 5.

Bernard Cunniffe won a cap for England while at Castleford in 1937 against France, and won a cap for Great Britain while at Castleford in 1937 against Australia.[1]

[edit] Challenge Cup Final Appearances

Bernard Cunniffe played Centre, i.e. number 2 in Castleford’s 11-8 victory over Huddersfield in the 1935 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on the 4th May 1935.[2]
