Berita Harian (English: Daily News) is a major Malay language newspaper in Malaysia. Its Sunday Edition is called Berita Minggu. It was founded on 31 August 1957, which also marks the date of Malaya's independence.^[1]

Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) from 1 July 2004 to 30 June 2005 put its circulation at 231,163 while its sister newspaper, Berita Mingguan has a circulation of 358,054.
