Benoît Cheyrou (born 3 May 1981 in Suresnes, Hauts-de-Seine) is a footballer from France who currently plays as midfielder for Olympique de Marseille in the French Ligue 1. He is a central midfielder with great vision and passing. He is also adept at defending.

He signed for l'OM from AJ Auxerre on 21 June 2007 and was presented along with new recruits Gaël Givet and Laurent Bonnart. His capture was announced the day before.

He caught the eye of sporting director Jose Anigo during the 2006–07 season. He played a pivotal role in the AJA team, he was also the team captain that season.
