Beniamino Abate (born November 10, 1962, in San Martino Valle Caudina, Province of Avellino) is an Italian former football (soccer) goalkeeper.

In his career (1978-1997) he played in Serie C1 with Benevento, and from in Serie A with Udinese (1985, 1986, 1987 and 1990), Inter Milan (1991–1994), Cagliari and Reggiana in Serie B where closed his career. In Serie A he played a total of 67 matches.

He is currently the assistant goalkeeping coach at A.C. Milan. His son Ignazio plays as winger for AC Milan in Serie A.
