The Bendigo Pioneers are an Australian rules football team in a Victorian under 18s league called the TAC Cup. They have produced some of the elite players in the league, including Nick Dal Santo and former AFL Rising Star Joel Selwood. Bendigo player Grant Ford was selected in the 2007 TAC Team of the Year. Kallen Geary etched his name into Bendigo Pioneers Football Club history as winner of the Neville Strauch Memorial club champion award for 2008.The wingman joined his brother, Jarryn, as a Pioneers’ best and fairest winner.
