Ben Daniel Revere (born May 3, 1988 in Lexington, Kentucky) is an outfielder in the Minnesota Twins organization currently assigned to the Twins' advanced A affiliate, the Fort Myers Miracle.[1]

Before the Twins made Revere their first-round pick (28th overall) in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft,[2] he led Lexington Catholic High School to the state title and was named MVP his junior year (2006).

He batted .325 with the Gulf Coast League Twins in his first season of professional ball, and was named a 2007 Gulf Coast League Postseason All-Star. The following season, with the Beloit Snappers, Revere's batting average jumped to .379 with 44 stolen bases and ten triples. His list of awards for the season include a Midwest League All-Star selection, MIDW Mid-season MVP, MIDW Postseason All-Star, MIDW Player of the Year, MIDW Prospect of the Year and the Sherry Robertson Award for Twins minor league player of the year.[3] Baseball America named him to their 2008 High Class A All-Star team, and called him the Twins' second best prospect behind Aaron Hicks.[4]

Revere began the 2009 season with Fort Myers. In the first half of the season, he batted .342 with 23 RBIs, 32 runs scored and 22 stolen bases. He was named the Florida State League Player of the Week May 11-17, and joins teammates David Bromberg, Chris Cates, Carlos Gutierrez, Steven Hirschfeld, Daniel Lehmann, Chris Parmelee, Steve Singleton & Spencer Steedley as All-stars for the FSL's Southern division.[5]
