António Melo, aka Batatinha (Small Potato), (born 1957) is a famous Portuguese clown.

In the early years of his career he worked with another famous Portuguese clown named Croquete and since their separation has worked with Companhia.

Had a show on Portuguese national television (RTP) called Vamos ao Circo with Companhia. In 2003 Batatinha and Companhia parted away. Since then Batatinha has been working with no partner.

He now has a daily show on Portuguese TV station TVI called Batatoon.
