Schulz began his career with Hannover 96 in summer 1997 on youthside and was promoted to the first team on 06 June 2008^[1]

On 20 June 2009 announced his lefting after twelve years from Hannover 96 and signed an three years contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern^[2].
