Band News is a Brazilian satellite TV channel. It was the second news channel launched in the Brazilian cable/satellite market. It is owned by Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação (parent company of Rede Bandeirantes – otherwise known as Band – and BandSports) and the namesake of sister radio network BandNews FM. Band News' format is not unlike HLN's daytime programming, with rolling news bulletins, updated every 30 minutes.
