Balila (Arabic: بليلة), also known as Cumin Chickpeas, consists of boiled chickpeas mixed with garlic, salt, cumin and olive oil. It is usually served as a hot Mezze dish.
Also Balila is a name for a small Village in North Jordan, between Irbid and Jerash. The population of Balial is aboput 7000-8000.
