al-Baghdadi Ali al-Mahmudi (Arabic: البغدادي علي المحمودي )(born 1945?) was appointed General Secretary of the General People's Committee (prime minister) of Libya on 5 March 2006 in succession to Shukri Ghanem. He has a medical degree and is specialised in obstetrics and gynecology.

Before serving as deputy Prime Minister he was the Health Minister.
