BNC (BVC: BNC) is a Venezuelan commercial bank headquartered in Caracas. It was founded in 1977 in San Antonio del Táchira as Banco Tequendama surcunsunsal of the Banco Tequendama Colombia.

In 2002 starts the purchase of the bank by group of Venezuelan investors, completing the acquisition in 2003, year in wich changes its name to Banco Nacional de Crédito.

In 2009 the BNC buys the Stanford Bank Venezuela, before controlled by Stanford Financial Group.
