BASF Beauty Care Solutions (BCS) is a business unit of parent BASF SE (FWB: BAS, LSE: BFA). Beauty Care Solutions provides research, formulations and manufacturing services in support of the global cosmetic markets. They offer active ingredients for skin care products. Primary sales offices are located in Paris, Tokyo and New York. Research facilities are located in Lyon, France and Stony Brook, Long Island, NY, USA. The research facility in Stony Brookis an anchor tenant of the Long Island High Technology Incubator located on the campus of Stony Brook University. Manufacturing facilities are located in Lyon, France and East Setauket, NY, USA.

Beauty Care Solutions was initially a product of the merger of the Collaborative Group (NY, USA) and Colletica (Lyon, France)as a business unit of Engelhard Corporation. These companies were acquired by Engelhard Corporation and combined to form Beauty Care Solutions. The 2006 acquisition of Engelhard by BASF SE led to the incorporation of BCS into BASF's Care Chemicals division.
