B. P. Singh is the creator and director of the Indian TV series C.I.D.. During initial days, he started his career as cameraman, he used to shoot the for the TV and later continue to shoot for C.I.D. and Aahat. He is also the producer of these two series along with Pardeep Uppoor.

He has worked with many known artists and is famous for giving breaks to new artists. He was the first to give a break to Canadian actor Remi Kaler during his struggling days in Mumbai as main lead in C.I.D. and police inspector in Aahat.

He originally belongs to Dehradun and was working with DoorDarshan before he relocated to Mumbai.
