Authenticity and Modernity Party:
The Authenticity and Modernity Party (French: Parti Authenticité et Modernité, PAM) is a Moroccan political party founded by former interior minister Fouad Ali El Himma on 10 August 2008. It is reportedly an attempt by King Mohammed VI's allies to create a strong political party to strengthen his power in Morocco.
A number of political parties merged into PAM: Al Ahd, the Environment and Development Party, the Alliance of Liberties and the Civic Initiative for Development.
The National Democratic Party initially also wanted to join the PAM, but later decided against it.[1]
