Asianet is a noted regional Malayalam language channel based general entertainment television channel. The channel is a part of Asianet Communications Limited, a company jointly owned by Star TV and Jupiter Entertainment with Star TV holding major stakes.^[1][2]

The channel offers a variety of soaps, reality shows, talk shows, news specials, travel shows, musical based shows etc. The channel is aired from its head office at Puliyarakonam, Thiruvananthapuram(Trivandrum) in Kerala.
