Ashok Amritraj, a Hollywood producer, is Chairman and CEO of Hyde Park Entertainment. He is also a former tennis player and has represented India on an international level. Amritraj has played in every major tennis tournament during his nine-year career including Wimbeldon and the U.S. Open. His brothers Vijay Amritraj and Anand Amritraj, are also tennis players.

Amritraj has produced over 100 films, including, Jeans and hit hollywood films such as Antitrust, Walking Tall, and Bringing Down the House, which starred Steve Martin and Queen Latifah. Among his upcoming movies are projects based on Lee Falk's characters Mandrake the Magician, directed by Chuck Russell, and The Phantom, The Ghost Who Walks. Amritraj is also making The Other End of the Line in collaboration with MGM Studios and India's Adlabs Ltd.

He has also produced a talent hunt programme for newcomers in the field of direction by name of GATEWAY. It's on air at present on SPIX channel.

Amritaj sat on the board of the Motion Picture and Television Fund (MPTF) for seven years. On Sunday, April 19, 2009, he and his wife Chitra were honored at a private ceremony held at MPTF's Wasserman Campus for their sponsorship of a residence at the Ray and Linda Stark Villa.[1]

Ashok Amritraj, wed his current wife Chitra in San Thome cathedral in Madras. He has a daughter, Priya, and a son, Milan, and a pet rabbit named Pip. They currently reside in Los Angeles, California.
