Area code 918 is a telephone area code serving the state of Oklahoma. It covers Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Bartlesville, McAlester, Gore, Jenks, Muskogee, Tahlequah, Henryetta, and northeastern Oklahoma.

The other two area codes for Oklahoma are 405, which covers the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area and central Oklahoma, and 580, which covers western and southern Oklahoma.

918 was split from 405 in 1953. It is predicted to exhaust its exchanges in 2011 (according to the NANPA); preliminary plans call for either an area code split or an overlay with a yet-to-be-announced area code. As of 2009, there is no overlay in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Corporation Commission is planning on holding community meetings in the near future for discussion of the options for implementation of a new area code for the area currently served by 918.
