Ara Abramyan (born 15 May 1957, Malishka, Yeghegnadzor District, Armenia) (Armenian: Արա Աբրահամյան) Ара Аршавирович Абрамян, is an Armenian-Russian businessman and the current president of the Union of Armenians in Russia, an NGO dedicated to advancing Armenian positions in Russia and promoting greater cooperation between Armenia and Russia.

Abramyan was born in Soviet Armenia in 1957, attended Yerevan State University and gained a degree in economics. In 1993 he founded the Joint Stock Company Soglasiye, which is today, one of Russia's top investment companies.
