April Masini is an American writer of dating and relationship advice columns. She founded the Ask April advice column and online magazine. She also wrote four best-selling books related to dating and relationships. In addition, April is a television and film executive.

Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, April grew up in an army family with one sister. The family moved around a great deal, eventually settling in Clarksville, Georgia where her parents ran a home for children with learning difficulties. Her parents split when she was 15.

She studied business at Hofstra University in New York before dropping out to start a modeling and television career.

From January 1995 to early 2000, April was married to Al Masini, the Founder, former President and CEO of TeleRep - America's largest billing TV rep, accounting for 86% of all national spot expenditures, as well as TPE -Television Program Enterprises. Al Masini is also the creator of Entertainment Tonight, Star Search, Solid Gold, LifeStyles of the Rich and Famous, RunAway with the Rich & Famous and SuperModel of the World, among many others.[1][2][3]

Masini currently lives in Naples, Florida.

Date Out Of Your League is described as "a book for the man ready to date the woman he wants and not one he is settling for".[citation needed] Think and Date Like a Man is aimed at "women who are ready to meet the man of their dreams".[citation needed] She also wrote Ideas For A Fun Date and Romantic Date Ideas.

April is the President/CEO of Masini Television & Film Enterprises, LLC in Honolulu, and Masini Enterprises, Inc. in Los Angeles. She raised tens of millions of dollars in financing for productions such as Baywatch and Blue Crush; produced Destination Stardom, and was the catalyst behind the production and execution of high profile political events, such as the Hawaii Governor's Inaugural Gala, and the television productions Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and The Miss Universe Pageant.
