AppLabs is a mid sized software testing and quality management company operating out of India, United States and United Kingdom. The company employs more than 1600 engineers, mainly at its Hyderabad based delivery centre. Apart from its Indian facility, AppLabs has facilities at USA and UK which it got by the acquisition of KeyLabs and IS Integration in 2005 and 2006.

According to company's official website, AppLabs was established by Sashi Reddi in 2001 by the initial seed money given by the venture capital company Sequoia Capital in the city of Hyderabad. AppLabs was created at a time when the concept of independent third party testing or a unbiased quality check for software was in its infancy. Outsourced IT Projects involved development and software testing activities rolled into one and it was awarded to a single company. AppLabs pioneered the market for outsourced third party testing and now enjoys leadership status in its market segment.
