She was born in Mumbai. She is the maternal grand daughter of famous Hindi actor Ashok Kumar.

She is married to actor Kanwaljit Singh. They have two sons Sidharth and Aditiya and a god-daughter, Mariam, who resides in the United States.

She is also the director of Dynamic Finishing Academy for Personality Development. She was also in the Star Tv serial Dekho Mgar Pyar Se as Sarika Sareen.
