Antoine Blanchard is the name under which French artist Marcel Masson (1910 - 1988) painted his immensely popular Parisian street scenes. The artist was born in a small village near the banks of the Loire on 15 November 1910 and received his artistic training in Rennes at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts.

Blanchard began painting his Paris street scenes in the late 1950s and continued until his death in 1988.^[1]
