Anthropologie is a retailer of high-end casual clothing and other merchandise run by Urban Outfitters, Inc. ^[1]

Today, there are over 90 stores in 24 states and the District of Columbia.^[2] Anthropologie opened its first international store in Toronto, Canada at Shops at Don Mills in April 2009. In July 2009, they opened their second Canadian store in Yorkville, Toronto. October 2009 marked the opening of Anthropologie's very first European store, located in the heart of London's West End.^[3] Each store has its own interior designer, at forty hours per week. The distinctive decorations are unique to each store.
