The Anna Nicole Smith Story (Working Title Anna Nicole: The Movie) is the title of a biographical movie depicting the life of Anna Nicole Smith, released on DVD on September 22, 2009.^[1]

The film has been released by Nasser Entertainment Group and stars Willa Ford, Patrick Ryan Anderson, Chris Devlin, Lenny Hirsh, and Bobby Trendy as himself, among others. Many rumors have spread around the internet regarding this film,^[2] and TMZ Online has been documenting much of the film's available information along the way. The film has been described as being on the "fast track" according to the film's producer, Joseph Nasser.^[3] The movie is currently in post-production.^{[1] [4]} The MPAA has not yet rated this film.

Both Insider and Entertainment Tonight have paid special attention to the film's progress. On April 26, 2007, ET gave an exclusive sneak peek at the film, showing parts of both Daniel's and Anna's death scenes and exclusive interviews with the cast. The film was released on DVD on September 22, 2009 two years after filming was completed.
