Angelo DiGeorge was a pediatric endocrinologist and discoverer of DiGeorge syndrome.^[1] He was born in Philadelphia, and received his undergraduate and medical education from Temple University. He was a founding member of the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society, and its president from 1983-1984.
