[1] Andy Katz is a senior college basketball journalist for ESPN.com. He is a regular sports analyst on College GameNight on ESPN. Katz earned a B.A. the University of Wisconsin–Madison (1990), and has worked for ESPN since January 5, 2000.[2]
Before Katz joined ESPN he was a sports reporter for The Fresno Bee (1995–1999). He worked at the Albuquerque Journal (1990–1995) and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (1989–1990)[3][4]
Katz and ESPN cameras came to the White House to document President Barack Obama filling out his 2009 March Madness Bracket. Katz lost a bet with President Obama and owes him some ESPN souvenirs; the President correctly picked North Carolina Tar Heels to win the 2009 NCAA Division I men's basketball national championship.[5]
